Future Links Junior League with Alberta Head Coach Randy Robb
Thursday Night “On Course” Program The program will focus on playing the game and learning some of the secrets of how to become a better player, with the goal of shooting lower scores. Each class will begin with the students playing 9 holes using a variety of formats that will help practice different aspects of the game. The last part of each class will be used to practice what was learned on the course at either the range or on River Spirit’s terrific practice green. The classes will be held on Thursday nights starting May 6th running from 6:00 – 9:00. The program runs for 10 weeks. Juniors are encouraged to be at the course early to go through their regular pre-game warm-up. From time to time there will be guest instructors assisting Team Alberta and Edge School golf coach Randy Robb. We will try to cover all aspects of the game from the short game – putting, chipping, pitch shots and bunkers – to course management to the rules of the game. There will also be evenings dedicated to trouble shots and how to keep the big numbers off the scorecard. | | | Cost of the program will be $500 for the 10 weeks. |

Randy Robb and Cathy Burton both have high performance coaching experience. Cathy was CLGA National Junior Coach for 6 years and Randy has been Alberta's Provincial coach and Western Canada's Regional coach for a number of years.
