Conveniently located off Highway 8, west of Calgary; approximately 30 minutes from Downtown, River Spirit lies nestled on the edge of the Rocky Mountains. The Elbow River and the Millburn Creek provide a breathtaking backdrop to many of River Spirit’s ‘signature’ holes.

Whether playing the Millburn, the Spirit, or the Cattails nine, River Spirit offers a choice of four sets of tees to ensure an enjoyable round for every caliber of golfer. A 325-yard driving range complete with grass tees, five target greens, bunkers, and two practice putting greens will to help minimize the unwanted strokes on the golf course.

With a spectacular panoramic view overlooking the Rocky Mountains, our restaurant amenities include a 70 seat Restaurant / Lounge and a 40 Seat Patio located in our Range House. We also have a 4000 square foot Marquee Center, able to support groups from 40 to 260. Perfect for your tournament or your special event.

Rental Clubs:
In order for River Spirit to provide the correct number of rental sets for your event, we need to know two weeks prior to your event how many rental sets you will need. We have 20 sets available for rent. Please also indicate who is paying for the rentals, the company, or the player.

Sponsor Signage:
Hole Sponsors: Please drop off any signage that you want placed out on the course the day before the event. Please provide the Head Professional with a list of sponsors and signage and the hole assignment that you want the signage placed on.

All tournament signage must be picked up the day after the event.

Instruction Package Option:

"Walk the Range" To help get your players started off on the right foot before your tournament, why not consider pre-tournament instruction. Our instructors will offer suggestions, and assist players with common swing errors and suggest changes for improvement.

Cost: $100 + GST - 1 hour of Instruction (Flat fee per professional)

"Beat the Pro" Challenge one of our CPGA Golf Professionals to a Beat the Pro Contest on one of the Par 3 holes.

Cost: $75 per professional (Hourly rate)

"Golf Academy for the Day" What do the people on your staff or clients that don’t know how to golf do, for the day while everyone else is out on the course? A very successful way of introducing these people to the game is to treat them to one of our Academy clinics! We specialize in helping people learn this game in a fun, relaxed atmosphere without fear of embarrassment.

Cost: $22 per player - Minimum per clinic is 4 participants up to a maximum of 8 per instructor, With a combined 35 years of instructing we take pride in creating the finest learning environment to meet your needs and in assisting you learn to play this great game for a lifetime!
