Memberships

The Head Professional may at any time deny playing privileges to any individual when, in their opinion, it is in the best interest of the Club to do so. All golfers must register with the Pro Shop before commencing play. Members may reserve a starting time through the Pro Shop or online up to 10 days in advance.

Playing multiple rounds per day is not allowed unless it is approved by Golf Operations. This is so every member can have a chance to play.

*No shows are considered any full missed tee times or showing up with less players than was booked. No Shows will be charged $50 per player in the tee time, if the tee time or player has not cancelled before 24 hours of the tee time.

Consistent with the Intermediate & Annual memberships, Junior Membership includes:

• Unlimited access to range & facilities
• Member guest rates
• 10 day advanced booking
• Golf Canada membership

Junior Membership does not include:

• Access to tee times Friday – Sunday anytime before 3pm
• Access to power carts unless a parent is playing with them and driving

Management and/or the Member Society Board reserves to suspend privileges of any member whose conduct negatively affects the enjoyment of fellow members and/or daily fee golfers. This includes in the clubhouse, on the golf course, driving golf carts, and dealing with any staff member.

A member who uses foul language, breaking any of the prescribed rules, or acting in a manner encroaching upon the rights of others, may be asked to leave and/or may have their membership privileges suspended.

Please inform the Golf Shop or course marshal / starter immediately if any golfers are abusing the golf course rules or regulations. Under no circumstances shall any member abuse any employee verbally or otherwise.

Any complaints about employees or the operation of the club must be made in writing to Golf Operations. Verbal complaints will not be considered.

All players are required to always wear suitable attire on the course and in the clubhouse. Dress is a personal matter and as contemporary golfing attire changes from time to time, any questions regarding the acceptability of any particular apparel can be reviewed with the professional staff.

Proper golf attire is mandatory and those offending the dress code will be asked to change into suitable attire or could be asked to leave the premises.

Prohibited dress for all players includes but is not limited to: sleeveless shirts, no shirts, fishnet shirts, shirts with garish or vulgar slogans, sweat pants, denim pants (includes all colours), cut-offs, gym shorts or any shorts that have an inseam less than 6 inches.

The enjoyment of the game is taken away when there is slow play. At River Spirit, the rated pace for 18 holes for a foursome is 4 hours 30 minutes. It is the responsibility of all Members and guests to meet this standard.

It is expected that some Members may wish to book more than one starting time. In such cases, it may not be possible to have a Member in every foursome; however, the Member will assume responsibility for all charges and conduct of their guests. Passes have a limit of four per day. They cannot be used for group bookings.
